Amy Melissa Moore Memorial

This scholarship is awarded in memory of Amy Moore, a graduate of NPHS Class of 1995. Amy was a bright outgoing student who loved dance and being part of the Color Guard which traveled and participated with the NPHS band at competitions. Amy’s teachers loved her enthusiasm and love for learning. She was a friend to all. Her infectious smile could light up a room. Anyone who knew Amy could count on her willingness to help in any way she could. She volunteered in many community projects. Amy received her degree from CSUN in Journalism /Communications and went on to work for US Bank until her passing. Applicants should plan on attending a 2 or 4 year college of their choice and be either on the Color Guard or part of the band. A short supplemental essay should accompany the application indicating how the scholarship of $750.00 will be used in their continuing education.
