Old Boney Mountain Foundation For Kids

Each year, Old Boney Mountain Foundation for Kids will provide scholarship opportunities for inspired, underprivileged individuals seeking to enroll in college, trade schools, music schools and performing arts / creative arts schools. Applicants must come from families with significant financial burden; hold a minimum 3.0 GPA overall in all course work in high school; be graduating in the year of the award; and have completed a minimum of 20 hours of community service during their graduating year. Selection will be based on financial need and a commitment to physical and spiritual well being, community, service, health and prayer. Submit a 500-1,000 word essay on the topic “What makes me an Old Boney Mountain Foundation for Kids Inspired Youth.” Your essay should explain what you demonstrate on a daily basis that makes you a driven, inspired applicant and what struggles you are facing with financial or family hardships, making it difficult for you to take further steps to better your education.
